The Guitar Setup Guide website is a sister site with my Guitar Tips Weekly website. Setting up your guitar is such an important part of playing your guitar that it really is worth having a whole site dedicated to.
The main resource I recommend is the Learn & Master Guitar Setup & Maintenance course, which goes through the basics in sufficient detail that you can learn to take care of most aspects of your guitar’s setup and maintenance on your own, at home, with only a few basic tools.
I recommend the course, I think it is well worth the small investment. Give your guitar to a guitar mechanic for an hour, and you’ll be out more than the $49 this course costs, and with the course, you can apply the principles to as many of your guitars as you want, and as often.
Definitely worth it, in my opinion.
